What’s a Day?
A day is 24 hours and goes from midnight to midnight. The earth rotates on its axis or makes a complete turn in one day and this is what creates the difference between night and day. When it is day on one side of the earth, it is night on the other. Seasons vary depending on the planet’s movements as well. The circadian rhythm is what governs your body’s natural cycles of wakefulness and sleep, and light and dark effect that. Daytime is when people are typically more active, and nighttime is usually for rest and sleep. There are 365 days in a year, and it takes a whole year for the earth to make a complete orbit, or trip around the sun.
Why Are the Days Magical?
It is believed by some people that each day is just the same as all the others, but some people believe that different days have their own powerful magic. Magically, each day is named after something powerful, and the energy and magic of what the day is named after influences it. There are special things like crystals and plants corresponding with each day, and each day has the natural power to influence certain areas of life. Most importantly, all of these things combine to influence each day. Knowing these correspondences will make it easy for you to use that power to make your own magic manifest.
For example, Mondays might annoy people, but the energy of Monday is very favorable for things like compassion, nurturing, and goddess energy. Buying crystals on the day they correspond with can help you choose them at the height of their power, and planting the magical herbs, trees, or flowers on the day they correspond with will align you with their magical abilities. Of course, you can do any magic you want to any day you would like to, but it is always best to do magic during the time that it is most powerful.
